It's nearly March. The tree right at the front of our yard is starting to bloom lovely deep pink blossoms. Wait wait -- WHERE WENT THE SNOW?!
This is my first year living in Oregon, and I was so excited to see snow! Last Christmas when I visited, it snowed and I was incredibly giddy romping and twirling and catching snowflakes on my tongue and eyelashes! They said December was a fluke, and usually the snow doesn't come until February. However, this year.. the snow has seemed to completely skip Oregon altogether!
It snowed in Texas! It snowed in California! Weather, how could you let me down?!
The blossoms on the tree outside are my sign that the battle is over; Spring was won. I've been holding out hope all up until I saw the blossoms yesterday.
Well, I'll have to hold out until next year and until then I'll be dreaming of snow! These are all photos I took December 2008 in my backyard!!

Wow! I love the snow photos. One day I want to have a white christmas. Ive never been to the snow before! Your doggy is SO SO cute :)
Oh and the tofu french toast, its actually really easy, it takes about 5 minutes to wizz up the dip :) my bf says he likes it just as much as the egg version. And yep I eat vegan, I dont really advertise that recipes I use are vegan because for some reason i think people straight away get turned off the recipe? The way I see it, its just normal cooking without the animal products, I dont use any of that icky Not-meat stuff.
That is such a coindidence that u guys went to Semaphore last Valentines day! I dont think the train runs all year, maybe just in the warmer months.
Its a shame you dont hear from your friends, I have realised recently that friends arent usually all theyre meant to be and lots of the time are a major let down, I guess thats just life though.
Crochet would be easy for you to re-learn. I learnt by watching a youtube video :)

yeah....sadly oregon is not a place to count on for snow.
my husband LOVES snow...and every morning the entire winter he peeks out the window before he gets out of bed to check if it snowed overnight. even when he knows there's no chance...he still holds out hope :). it's kinda cute. i myself...am pretty stoked for spring....cute dresses here i come!
